UX Republic, a startup created in Paris in 2013 by Bordeaux native Sebastien Berten, specialises in User eXperience (UX) and data design for major accounts. The company chose to open its first regional office in Bordeaux.
To respond to developments and meet the needs of its many customers based in Bordeaux, the company plans to hire 20 employees in the coming year.
Objective: 30% growth in 2019!
UX-Republic has also developed an accredited training centre and provides corporate training in its areas of expertise. The first UX-Design training course will be held in Bordeaux on 3 and 4 December.
While its headquarters remains in Paris, UX-Republic decided to open an office in Bordeaux, followed by one in Aix/Marseille, and will likely open others in Lyon and Lille in early 2019.
If UX-Republic chose to come Bordeaux, it is not only because its founder Sebastien Berten, is a Bordeaux native. The company alreadyworked with Bordeaux-based customers (Cdiscount, for example, as well as Ubisoft and Betclic) from its Paris office. It has also identified Bordeaux’sgrowth and strong business creation in the digital ecosystem as factors which cangenerate a strong customer base. The vitality of the aerospace and defense industry is also of particular interest to the firm
With its location in the Bordeaux metropolitan area, situated in the heart of a large geographic region (Niort, Limoges, Toulouse, Pau for example), the firm can attract employees who are looking to leave Paris. “So it’s really a winning combination,” says Sebastien.
The firm also hopes to work with schools such as Digital Campus and ECV in order to share expertise and participate in the local ecosystem.
