Rototilt, the manufacturer of equipment for worksite vehicles locates its French headquarters in the Bordeaux area and inaugurates its new premises in Ayguemortes- les-Graves.
The European leader in tiltrotator technology
Rototilt is a Swedish manufacturer of equipment for 1.5t to 40t-excavators. It manufactures tiltrotators (rotary and tilting heads) which bring greater flexibility, improved work-site safety and gains in time to network, sanitation and road works.
Founded in 1998, Rototilt currently employs 165 people at its headquarters in Vindeln, Sweden.
In recent years, the company has been building a network of subsidiaries and dealers in Scandinavia, Germany, the UK and North America.
Opening of the France entity in Bordeaux
Rototilt has been present in France for 4 years in a market experiencing strong growth, which justifies the creation of a structure in France, in order to come closer to its customers.
Bordeaux, competing with Paris, was chosen for its economic vibrancy, its efficient transport network and the presence in Ayguemortes (Bordeaux area) of a partner company for the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment (public works, agriculture, handling, etc.).
These French headquarters will consist of a local sales office and after-sales centre which will employ around ten people within three years.
Two months ago, 3 new employees were taken on to support the 3 sales representatives and the sales manager at this site.
The company is planning to recruit 2 more employees in the next two years.
Invest in Bordeaux has supported this project since its early stages, by convincing the company to locate in Gironde.
Widespread communication is under way with regional economic partners, and collaborations are being planned in the search for future staff.
