The new Falcon 8X business jet by Dassault has been assembled in Bordeaux Mérignac.
The first 8X fuselage was manufactured in factories in Biarritz while the wings, weighing 272 kg less than those of the 7X, were transported to Bordeaux for assembly. Pratt & Whitney engines (Canada) have also been installed.
After a period of flight testing, the jet will be certified mid-2016. The first deliveries are scheduled for before end 2016.
This new very-long-range business jet will be able to fly 12,000 km non-stop.
