IDMOG has just set up in Bordeaux at the Bassins à Flots, attracted by the quality of the city’s digital ecosystem and its skill set in geosciences.
The company was founded in 2012 within the Télécom ParisTech incubator and specialises in publishing and marketing innovative software solutions for oil and gas companies worldwide.
To support its development, this start-up business of 6 people has decided to relocate its operations to Bordeaux in 2014. Aquitaine was chosen for the vitality of its ecosystems in the geosciences and digital sectors, with the presence of the AVENIA competitiveness cluster, Total’s technical centre (Pau), the French headquarters of Canadian company Vermilion (Landes), and last but not least the Bordeaux research laboratories INRIA and LaBRI.
Another advantage for IDMOG was the potential offered by the Bordeaux metropolis for the development of companies (quality of life, the dynamism of the university).
IDMOG enjoys strong growth prospects through international expansion, particularly in the USA, and recruitment is a key element.
