NUTRIKEO is a nutritional strategy advising agency (innovation, communication, studies, and education) for professionals in the health/foodtech sector. It was established in 2009 in Pessac and is currently experiencing exponential growth.
The company is about to pass a milestone, expanding their premises and doubling staff numbers.
It is also launching the first digital platform for nutritional education for families.
The startup was supported by Invest in Bordeaux for its setup in 2009. It began with two people, and now employs 30 staff, with a turnover of €1.8 million in 2016.
It now plans to create a further 20 jobs over three years, to reach a total of 50 employees.
Nutrikeo has the support of the dynamic, attractive Nutrition and Health Cluster in Bordeaux, gathering new contracts with the biggest agri-food groups, and has established its presence in the field of dietary supplements.
It now has 160 customer references, assisting them in developing new products and services.
KOAM, the top digital platform for nutritional education for families
Nutrikeo has moved into nutritional education using digital tools, and in particular, video games.
After two years of collaborations with experts in nutrition and digital tools, the KOAM platform has just come out.
KOAM was partly funded by regional and European subsidies, and BPI France. The platform was developed over two years by Nutrikeo, in collaboration with the Bordeaux companies Interaction HealthCare and Concoursmania.
This free platform teaches both children and adults how to have a more balanced diet, through video games or serious games designed by teams of experts in nutrition and digital tools.
