The Caisse d’épargne Aquitaine Poitou Charentes has laid the first symbolic stone of its new headquarters, Atlantica, at the heart of the emerging business center, Bordeaux Euratlantique, from where the TGV will link Bordeaux to Paris in 2hrs from 2017.
The first Green Office in Bordeaux, it represents a 40 million euro investment.
Designed by Parisian architecture firm Architecture Studio and built by Bouygues Immobilier, the 7-floor, 11,500m² building has breath-taking views of the city and the river. By the end of 2016, it will host the 450 admin and management staff of the CEAPC, who are currently split across various sites in Mériadeck and Bordeaux Lac.
At the heart of the remarkably aesthetic building, positive energy offices combine energy savings, employee comfort and ecological performance.
The Caisse d’épargne Aquitaine Poitou-Charentes employs 2,800 people and has 380 branches in 9 departments. In 2013, its net banking income amounted to 534 million euros.
