This is a first for the Bordeaux start-up Immersion! A European leader in immersive 3D technologies and innovative collaborative projects, the start-up has now digitised the concept store Edith in the centre of Bordeaux for the Christmas shopping period.
The Edith shop, a focal point for fashion and design in Bordeaux, has chosen the ‘Shariiing’ solution by Immersion to digitise its sales outlet.
The universal collaborative platform for sharing digital content was designed for the industry and research sectors but has proven that it is perfectly adaptable to physical stores able to make full use of digital solutions.
Thus, from 4 December until 2 January, customers can find a tactile screen, a window with NFC and QR Code smart signage (allowing users to connect to social networks, a selfies slide show and the website via their smartphone) and the ‘Shariiing’ solution by Immersion.
This solution will allow consumers to enjoy a unique experience combining real-time interactivity and entertainment.
New applications can also be discovered in the shop such as the ‘Shariiing Selfie’ or Photobooth for customers who do not have smartphones.
With the digitisation of the concept store, Edith, which calls for qualitative and responsible consumption, remains consistent with its brand values and offers new business opportunities.
Immersion’s teams also demonstrated their responsiveness by setting up this project in just two weeks, as Kanicki Morgan, Business Manager of Edith, explains:
“We were looking for a dynamic company able to provide a fit with a concept store that continuously seeks to be avant-gardist, so as to offer intelligent digitalisation of the retail area. Immersion is one of the leaders in this field, thanks to its tactile and intuitive solutions – it seemed natural to propose a collaboration”.
