The Wild Code School, which teaches code in 5 months, named Grande École du Numérique and prize winner of the “Culture of entrepreneurship and innovation” Investing for the Future Programme, will be set up in Bordeaux, within a rapidly expanding ecosystem.
A school in the form of an experiment laboratory
This training center is a digital school that aims to teach code using original methods, combining 100% on-site training and the use of digital tools like the e-learning platform Odyssey. There are no qualification barriers for entry; applicants must be 18 years old or over and are selected for their motivation and love of digital technology.
The Wild Code School offers a curriculum that allows students to be employable at the end of their five-month course, during which each student carries out 4 projects including 2 for real clients.
Ambitions for Bordeaux
The school in Bordeaux will open in September 2016 with a Campus Manager responsible for the operational running of the school and a trainer.
The Wild Code School aims to become a leader in blended learning by piloting a network of innovative schools in France and abroad, which offer relevant training to prepare for new jobs.
The aim ultimately is to broaden training to cover other computer languages and recruit new trainers.
Invest in Bordeaux has enabled Wild Code School to get to know the Bordeaux digital ecosystem, to meet training/employment partners and facilitate the search for premises.
