GEEV: the application that allows you to donate and collect items for free!
GEEV is a collaborative mobile app allowing its members to donate objects that they no longer use.
The objective is simple: to give a second life to daily objects by offering a simple, fun, and fair alternative to selling and dumping.
Presented as a classified advertising app, in 2 clicks GEEV offers an easy way of giving and retrieving objects close to your home.
Available on iOS and Android, GEEV is 100% free.
A human-scale ecosystem to develop the project
In order to bring together all the members of a team scattered across France and abroad, the GEEV startup has set up its operational headquarters in Bordeaux.
The metro area gives the company a fast-growing but human-scale economic ecosystem to enable the project to grow seamlessly. Previous ties with local startups such as Concours Mania or Azendoo, and with Kedge Business School where 2 of the founders graduated, contributed to their choice of Bordeaux, as did the proximity of Paris thanks to the future high speed line and the quality of life.
With the 4 founders soon to be settled in Bordeaux, the startup hopes to grow and reach 16 employees by 2019.
Half of the job offers are in marketing, communication and sales positions, and the other half in development.
One of the main objectives of the team is to internalize resources that were previously subcontracted.
Supported by Invest in Bordeaux since its arrival in Bordeaux at the end of 2016, GEEV has been put into contact with the local ecosystem (French Tech, BPI, Metropulse, Région, Village by CA etc.) and schools which act as a relay for internship recruitment offers.
Invest in Bordeaux has also accompanied GEEV in their search for premises (incubator, sublease, Cité du Numérique, etc.)
