The company Netwyse has just opened Netwyse Labs in central Bordeaux, developing systems of connected objects to help solve the problem of lost keys or smartphones.
Albert Proust, a qualified engineer from the School of Computer Science & Advanced Techniques (EPITA), has worked on embedded technology (mobile phones, GPS, etc.) and developed a project based on objects connected to the Internet.
After more than two years of R & D, he has created the Gablys, a small connected object with a sleek design which you attach to belongings that you would not like to forget or lose. The Gablys communicates directly with a smartphone through a mobile application for Android or iOS, enabling it to retrieve belongings.
Albert Proust also intends to create a showcase site and a Fab Lab (manufacturing laboratory) in Bordeaux in September.
