The momentum around the creation of the FinTech Bordeaux event in 2015 and the emerging partnership with the Bordeaux firm DIGITALL Conseil, convinced the founders of the Robin’Finance start-up to create their FinTech company in Bordeaux.
This proved to be a clever decision, as the company’s growing business soon required an increase in staff and new premises.
A savings platform which is 100% digital and transparent
The Robin’Finance team is dedicated to replacing private individuals in the financial system and providing them with support in a completely transparent manner, through a high-quality customer experience.
With this goal in mind, the start-up developed a distribution platform for savings and investment products that enables individuals to participate in and control their savings.
An alternative to the financial products offered by banking institutions, the platform also provides personal support in order to guide savings customers in their choices and help them manage their finances.
Robin’Finance was drawn to the dynamic local FinTech environment
The start-up chose Bordeaux for several reasons:
- the dynamic digital environment, for FinTech in particular
- Bordeaux’s economic and demographic development
- the city’s high-quality digital profiles
- “and of course, the city’s high quality of life”
Invest in Bordeaux helped the start-up find new office space and establish contacts with local business leaders. The company eventually chose a co-working space after a period of time spent at the Darwin Ecosystem.
Its goal is to have a staff of 20 in 3 years.
