Founded in 2009, the Bordeaux start-up Exoès has successfully developed to become a fast-growing SME at the forefront of technology.
The principle behind the company is very simple:
only 33% of fuel consumed is actually used to drive a vehicle.
The remaining 67% is lost in the form of heat between the cooling system and the exhaust.
This observation of these substantial losses was what led to the invention of the EVE (Energy Via Exhaust) technology.
Since starting up, the expertise and commitment of Exoès’s employees have been rewarded.
7 patents bear testimony to the company’s ability to innovate. Various partnerships, for example with the American transport giant Tenneco, show just how much potential Exoès has.
And in 2014, the most recent round of fundraising attracting 2 million euros merely highlights the confidence of private and public investors in the company’s future.
Taking advantage of robust results and positive indicators, Exoès sees 2015 as the year to “shift up a gear” and export its technologies to large HGV components manufacturers in Europe and America.
