Leader in learning solutions and digital training, the Irish group Enovation moved into the French market in 2010 and has chosen to officially set up in Bordeaux in 2017.
High-speed railway and the appeal of Bordeaux’s FrenchTech
Specialized in e-learning solutions (OpenSource software, talent management platform etc.), Enovation has 45 employees in Europe with the majority based in Dublin.
Supported by Invest in Bordeaux and Business France, Enovation has chosen the Bordeaux urban area to establish its headquarters in France.
A new focal point for the French digital economy, the urban area also benefits from its proximity to Paris, soon to be reinforced by the high-speed railway.
These two criteria convinced Enovation to choose Bordeaux, as the company is looking to provide large Parisian groups with its eLearning expertise while emerging as a key local player.
Recruitment of developers and a new identity
Enovation France has the ambition to become the benchmark in eLearning.
Large institutions such as IRTS Aquitaine, AFPA, Cnam, and CISS already form part of its clientele.
Now in a recruitment phase, it plans to take on 10 new technology professionals with developer or educational designer profiles.
The creation of Enovation France also coincides with the launch of the new Enovation Group identity which was unveiled on Tuesday 21 March 2017 at the eLearning Expo show in Paris.
Managed by Paul Bachy, Technical Director, and Didier Bayard, Head of Development, Enovation France has been supported by Invest in Bordeaux in its search for property and in networking with digital players and employment partners.
“The support form Invest in Bordeaux has made all the difference in our move. Thanks to their professionalism and the support from their teams, the setup of Enovation France has been greatly facilitated and we have become a fully-fledged economic player in Bordeaux, whilst extending our strategy across the national territory” states Didier Bayard.
