e-Device, a leader in connected medical devices and a Bordeaux start-up, has developed the first complete technology platform for remote patient monitoring: “HealthGo Mini” was one of the 5 winners of the Aquitaine Industrial Design Trophy 2015, awarded on 12 November.
Pioneers in telemedicine and machine-to-machine solutions, eDevice has been developing this device for remote medical care since 2012. It offers the distinctive characteristic of being able to be used by any operator, who then provides the link between the care centre and the patient.
It comes with health information tools such as a blood pressure monitor, touch screen and microphone for communication.
This innovative medical kit, used by 200,000 connected people across the world, has been exported with success, in particular to the United States (95% of sales).
To keep up with this development e-Device, which has turnover of €18 million, will be taking on 8 new employees in 2016 to join the team of 20 engineers and executives based in Bordeaux.
