Omnilog, headquartered in Paris, chose Bordeaux for the location of its first agency at the end of 2017.
Following this, the Parisian group Maltem, a service provider specialised in digital expertise, data, innovation and IT consulting, announced the acquisition of Omnilog and also decided to open in Bordeaux.
The 2 entities will create 80 jobs in Bordeaux Metropole.
Omnilog: The Digital Expert of Maltem Group
In January 2018, Omnilog joined Maltem, an international consulting and service group specialised in the digital transformation of companies.
With 165 engineering staff and turnover of almost €16.9m in 2017, Omnilog has seen strong growth since its creation 18 years ago.
The Maltem Group is an ecosystem of several companies with more than 1,000 employees throughout the world. Omnilog is the digital expert of the Maltem Group.
Their shared vision: to guide major companies, start-ups and NGOs through successful digital transformation.
Its combined offer enables the group to intervene throughout all the steps of a digital project, such as the design of new digital products, technical design, digital marketing and communication, R&D, lab innovation, start-up incubation and growth, etc.
Maltem is also engaged in social projects, via its Aldinie Foundation, which provides support to disadvantaged children and school-building projects in certain developing countries.
Ambitions for Bordeaux
Bordeaux emerged as the ideal city for company staff interested in European mobility.
Initially located in the Mama Works premises in the Bassins à Flot district, the Maltem Group intends to create 80 jobs in Bordeaux over 3 years, i.e. 40 for Omnilog and 40 for Maltem.
13 employees were hired between January and May 2018.
Profiles sought: Data Experts, functional and technical project managers, Fullstack developers and architects of all levels for permanent contracts.
This opening in Bordeaux will also enable the company to support its historical customers on a local level and to develop its services and expertise in new business sectors, such as aeronautics.
The vibrancy of Bordeaux’s digital ecosystem, the quality of life and more personal reasons are additional factors in the decision of the new team.
Invest in Bordeaux assisted Omnilog in its recruitment phase and to seek premises. The agency also put Omnilog in touch with Bordeaux stakeholders during business events.
