Snark Factory in Bordeaux brings together talented professionals from across France to provide support for start-ups and businesses which have embarked on a digitalization process.
Drawn by the vibrant local start-up environment, the young company has chosen to settle in Bordeaux.
IT development, design, UX, project management, as well as expertise, coaching and professional training — a comprehensive range of services to support digital development for start-ups.
Drawing on the experience of 4 associates from Paris and Marseille, with the assistance of a Lille-based investor, Snark Factory provides technical and operational support for start-ups who have embarked on a digitalization process.
The company’s activities complement those of existing local establishments and provide support for all aspects of digital products, including design, creation, implementation and design creation.
Snark Factory also temporarily houses start-ups during the project support period, in a prime location in downtown Bordeaux.
This will help put start-ups and their staff in direct contact with the people who will be working on their project, thereby allowing them to learn how to communicate with these different professionals.
A dozen new hires planned
Bordeaux stood out as the best opportunity for the company. The city’s dynamic start-up ecosystem, favorable real estate environment, acknowledged commitment among institutional players and quality of life were factors which set it apart.
As part of its development, Snark Factory plans to recruit developers, designers and other operational positions and expects to hire approximately a dozen people over the next three years.
It is seeking people with ten years of experience who, in addition to having specialized expertise, can support start-ups and their teams and communicate with them in an educational manner.
Invest in Bordeaux was Snark Factory’s first contact in Bordeaux and facilitated their arrival in the city.
The agency put the company in contact with a number of actors in the local ecosystem and facilitated its search for office space in the downtown area.
“I would like to emphasize that we were received very quickly by all these players and they extended a very warm welcome! This helped us fit into the local fabric and start forming relationships with a number of stakeholders.” says Sébasiten Doncker, an associate at Snark Factory.
