
The dynamic Bordeaux French Tech, a large delegation of digital technology start-ups, is participating in the Consumer Electronics Show, the international innovation and new technology trade show which has opened in Las Vegas.
Featuring among the 16 start-ups that set out to sell their expertise with Digital Aquitaine and the Bordeaux CCI is a major company from Bordeaux, Cdiscount, along with a few other promising new companies.
PARKING FACILE, GABLYS, and IQSPOT are the 3 start-ups chosen by the Bordeaux CCI to participate as exhibitors at the 2016 CES in Las Vegas. The start-ups were selected from among the 15 national start-up winners of the “French IoT” program run by La Poste Group.
- Parking Facile, “easy parking”, is an application that allows users to reserve private parking spaces that are available in the city, and to pay for and access the desired space.
- Gablys developed a connected device that makes it possible to lock the user’s computer upon request, and also developed connected key chains.
- IQspot offers companies the possibility of reducing their energy bills through the real-time transmission of data.
Three other local companies, WIIDII (personal assistant for exploring the city), TAMAPLACE (application for working remotely) and PROJET PRATIC (artificial intelligence platform), which were also chosen by the Bordeaux CCI, made the trip in order to follow technological developments and find future partners.
Other companies from the Bordeaux region that were included in this delegation, without holding a stand, were NFC Interactive, Brainify, Jestocke.com, Pressing privé, Marbotic, Hawk, Athome Solutions and DMIC.
With 120 start-ups, France was the 2nd largest delegation of innovative companies, second only to the United States (175 start-ups), and far ahead of its European neighbors.
