CARREFOUR’s wine trader, JOHANES BOUBEE, taken over in 1999, will be building its 4th bottling plant in Beychac-et-Caillau in Gironde, with a production capacity of 45 million litres.
The trading house, whose headquarters are in Bordeaux, markets 300 million litres of wine per year and has three bottling plants in Lille, Nimes and Bayeux.
Johanes Bourbee will be investing 5 million Euros to equip the bottling plant with two bottling lines, one to process bottles, the other for the Bag-in-Box system.
Thanks to this new facility, the Carrefour Hypermarches subsidiary to pursue its growth overseas.
The operational facility should be ready for mid-2015, and should create between 35 and 40 new jobs.
