Accompanied by 16 innovative companies, the ITC Cluster took part for the 8th consecutive year in HIT (HealthIT Expo), in the framework of Paris Healthcare Week from May 24 to 26, 2016.
This strong presence at the trade fair for technologies and information systems applied to healthcare, demonstrates the economic power of the e-health sector in Bordeaux and the enlarged Aquitaine Region.
Leader in e-health, the region displays its know-how
The HIT Fair is aimed at professionals in the healthcare and medico-social field who are looking for technological solutions to optimize the management of their establishment and of treatment. This year addressed issues relating to Big Data, to data systems security, the Personal Medical File, Telehealth and connected health.
The HIT Expo 2016 is organized in an exhibition space welcoming 250 exhibitors, 4 theme villages, a dedicated agora and 5 themed circuits.
Aquitaine, France’s 2nd largest region, gathers together almost 50% of the French workforce in health-related IT, with leaders such as Agfa Healthcare, Interaction Healthcare or Maincare, and directly provides more than 1200 direct jobs.
Through its ICT health cluster, membership of Digital Aquitaine, and its FrenchTech certification, Bordeaux affirms its leadership in tele-medicine, e-health and digital healthcare.
Bordeaux’s nuggets present their innovations
Among the companies present, Nomadeec connected medical solutions will announce the launch of Nomadeec Medevac, the first mobile and connected solution developed especially for medical repatriation.
VitalBase will present the 1st automatic fall detector bracelet on the market which allows for greater home-based autonomy and safety in health establishments.
XPERIS , expert in solutions to reinforce interoperability and data system protection for medical establishments will unveil the Health Data Hub, an innovative solution which enables the use of all the data from the Hospital Information System.
Lastly, Interaction Healthcare , leader in the design of digital applications for patients and healthcare professionals, has announced the finalization of its €5 million fundraising with the public investment bank BPI France, the investment fund Audacia, and the Aquitaine Limousin Poitou-Charentes Region.
This major player will present the development of MedicActiv, the first digital simulation platform focused on education in the healthcare field, designed and developed by SimforHealth, the digital simulation department of Interaction Healthcare.
