The online booking agency Booking.com has, since March, converted its local temporary establishment in Bordeaux Bastide into permanent offices.
In 2012, the e-tourism leader (100 offices over five continents) set up a regional branch to strengthen its relationship with partners and to meet local market expectations. “The objective was to develop our partner network, as well as our booking potential”, explains Barbara Atkinson, regional Manager for the South-West. “Bordeaux has a very strategic position thanks to its proximity to the attractive Atlantic coast: in one year, we have almost doubled the number of partners in the 4 regions of South-West France”.
Simple management of bookings as well as relationship between clients and service providers have ensured the success of Booking.com, a subsidiary of the American company Priceline.com.
