One year after its launch, the Digital city, the future cluster of excellence for digital uses in Aquitaine, is already home to eleven start-up companies, including JeStocke, and Demooz for the collaborative economy, as well as Fabzat for 3D printing.
As a preview of this symbol of the digital economy, Tripo is a platform within the Digital City which brings together company projects in the incubation or start-up phase.
The Unitéc Technopole of Bordeaux supports these projects in terms of financial engineering, advice and ties with university laboratories and technology platforms.
By late 2016, the renovation works at the Digital City should be finished and the total surface area of 28,000 m² will be able to accommodate 70 start-up companies, as well as cultural and educational establishments, such as a video games museum.
