The ambition of “Village by CA”, a spin-off of the first Village by CA in Paris , is to boost the regional economy by speeding up the development of innovative start-ups.
Backed by the Crédit Agricole Aquitaine Regional Bank, this new business accelerator aims to foster cooperation between start-ups, large corporations and regional SMEs to develop innovation.
Creating a place and a unique network entirely devoted to the development and support of innovative projects, that is the originality of the Village by CA concept.
In addition to the partners of the Village, including Microsoft, Sanofi, Mazars, GT Location, Fidal and Keolis, the start-ups will also have access to a number of private and public players.
Located right in the centre of the Bordeaux metropolitan area, this 1,000m² Village will have the capacity to host up to 30 start-ups that have reached the ramp-up phase or are coming to the end of the incubation period.
It will feature a number of different areas (conference room, living lab, co-working space, open-plan and closed offices) laid out around a central square to foster exchanges between stakeholders.
International business and winning new markets are also a key focus of the system, by offering access to the Village by CA office in New York and the premises and services of the Crédit Agricole in 25 cities around the world (London, Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, etc.).
The opening is scheduled for September.
