3 questions for Alexandre Rosette, Chief Executive Officer of AXA Wealth Services
Alexandre Rosette, can you describe your company and the sector in which you operate?
AXA Wealth Services is a very young company, created in September 2015. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of AXA France.
It’s a start-up at the service of one of AXA’s fundamental business lines: life insurance and high-end savings.
This is a particularly attractive market, which should develop over the next few years, since the market segment of well-off customers is the one that has seen the highest growth in France over the past 10 years.
This great growth potential offers development opportunities that we must seize right away.
The goals of AXA Wealth Services?
Our main roadmap will consist in developing the high-end life insurance services “of the future” and speeding up the digital transformation of our processes (multi-devices, multi-access).
The activity will be launched in 2016, and the structure will include not only all the basic business line functions (Customer services, Technical Insurance Operations, Financial Operations, Commissioning, Information Systems, promoting Commercial and Digital activities) but will also have its own support functions (budget planning, accounting, general resources, HR, etc.)
What ambitions do you have for AXA Wealth Services and what swayed your decision to set up in the Bordeaux region?
The high-end savings market is changing dramatically and actors must adapt their business models accordingly.
Our main aim is to strengthen the flexibility and reactivity of AXA France with this fast-growing customer segment so that we can respond even more quickly to the frequent changes and demands of our “Gestion Privée” (Private Management) customers.
In the framework of the “savings” plans for 2020, AXA France has announced that it wants to increase its growth in the customer wealth management segment. AXA Wealth Services is clearly a cornerstone of the group’s strategy for achieving this objective.
AXA France is present throughout France, and the metropolitan area of Bordeaux has been elected by the French people as the best place to live, both for its quality of life and its economic attractiveness (source: Institut Great Place to Work).
Which business lines will there be at AXA Wealth Services and what types of posts are you looking to fill?
We are launching AXA Wealth Services this year and we hope to have 130 employees by 2019.
They will be recruited and trained locally.
This year, almost 30 permanent positions will be created, mainly Customer Services Managers, Middle Office Managers, IT specialists, Human Resource Staff and Management Officers.
