The magazine L’Express has just published its 2013 list of the top 50 French cities to live in. Bordeaux is among the front runners in every category.
This survey, published on the magazine’s website, focuses on conclusions drawn both from the Provemploi exhibition (event for those who wish to “live and work outside the capital”), and from 31 indicators (Source: INSEE).
List for young people: Bordeaux in 2nd position. List for elderly people: Bordeaux in 2nd position. Culture: Bordeaux comes 3rd. Health: Bordeaux comes 3rd.
The survey also mentioned that “two cities deserve a special “every category” prize: Bordeaux and Nancy which are the only cities to appear in the top ten of all three classifications.
Good all-round cities are hard to come by… these are universal and complete cities. What if this is the recipe for a great city to live in?
