A new hotel complex, designed by the Bordeaux architectural studio King Kong, will come into being in the second quarter of 2017, under the name of Radisson Blu, in the Bassins à flot district near the Cité des civilisations du vin.
Over a surface area of more than 1,500m2, it will boast 125 rooms, a spa and balneotherapy area, and offer a panoramic view of Bordeaux.
Wolfgang M. Neumann, chairman and CEO of Rezidor, a group to which Radisson Blu belongs, is delighted with the latter’s arrival in Bordeaux.
“Radisson Blu is the largest top of the range hotel brand in France, and we are delighted to add another flagship establishment to our contemporary portfolio. Bordeaux is a destination which is experiencing a boom in business and leisure travel in South-West France. We are keen to participate in the dynamic development of the city” he declared in a press release.
