It is in the new Bassins à Flot district that is being completely transformed, not far from Bordeaux city centre, where a high-tech revolutionary campus bringing 5 higher education schools together, has just been set up in a 2,000m2 building, by the side of the Garonne River.
The private Réseau Compétences et Développement group, which is creating campus 114, is the first to be placing its bets on the Bassins à Flot area by opening 5 schools dedicated to digital technology : EPSI (Computer Engineering), IDRAC Business School (Business), IFAG (Management), Sup’de Com (Communications), and WIS (Web International School). Some 500 students have just taken possession of the new site based on interactivity and creativity, and encouraging the development of alternative teaching methods. Here there are no traditional courses in lecture theatres and rather than lecturers, they have tutors.
The campus includes facilities providing optimal conditions for learning: modular classrooms, a business incubator, learning labs, group work areas, computer rooms, catering areas, working and living areas.
The schools offer courses adapted to professions of the future such as Community Managers or Computer Engineers and will provide a response to Aquitaine companies’ needs.
